The week of low impact exercise

I’m planning a week of low impact exercise this week, in the hopes of lessening the pain in my aggravated ankle:

My plan:

Saturday:  Weight circuits (Jillian Michaels program, substituting high impact cardio for low impact)

Sunday: 15 plus mile bike ride

Monday:  Spin class; weights

Tuesday: Day Off

Wednesday: Spin class; weights

Thursday:  Swimming

Friday:  Session with personal trainer



  1. The Jillian Michaels program as in the DVD? I wanted to get one for days I just need to get an extra cardio/weight training in.

    Do you like it? I’ve never used home fitness DVD and aside the odd looks I’ll get from my dog..I’m quite game to give it a try.

    • I was referring to weight circuits she has as part of her online program. I subscribe to this program and it gives you cardio resistance circuits to do. But I do have her 30 Day Shred video and I think it’s quite good! Definitely recommended.
